Booking Process

When adopting one of our puppies through our website, there is an option to select “yes” for a flight nanny and choose a preferred delivery date. If you have questions or concerns about your preferred date or have any delivery requests, contact My Doodle Puppy at (801) 921-8892. If your preferred delivery date doesn’t work for us, we will contact you.

We realize that everyone's schedule is different and to better help our customers, we offer a 7-day grace period after our puppies turn 8 weeks. During this week, the customer can pick up their dog at any time, no consequences. There is, however, a 50$ boarding fee for every day afterward that they are not picked up.

Cost Breakdown

Most flight nannies' prices range from $450 to $2000, varying with changes in ticket prices or plans. My Doodle Puppy charges an all-inclusive flat rate of $950, which covers the ticket prices and the puppy carrier. For international flights, the rate is $1400. This must be paid in full before the tickets can be booked. The deposit must be paid through PayPal, and a PayPal link can be found on the deposit page when adopting your dog. The remaining cost will be invoiced to your email, payable by credit card, bank account, etc.

If anything goes wrong, whether due to the airline or our own fault, we will cover the cost, with no repercussions to you. We at My Doodle Puppy will do our best to assist you, but please note that extra accommodations will be at your expense and must be arranged before we book your pup's flight.

What We Provide

Adding a new member to your family can be intimidating, and you may have many questions, but My Doodle Puppy will support you throughout this exciting process. With every dog, we provide a “Go Home” bag which includes a leash, collar, potty pads, toys, and treats. We also send edible chews which help depressurize your puppy's ears while on the flight. Every dog is delivered in a soft-sided airline-approved carrier, which is included in the initial cost.

Your Puppy’s Journey

After the plan is set in stone, pay the fee and count down the days! Our flight nanny will contact you the day before an early flight or the day of a late flight to let you know she is on her way and send you pictures of your doggie-to-be. Our flight nanny will take good care of your puppy, bringing it to a designated puppy area within the airport before the flight. There, they will be fed, played with, and brought to the bathroom. During the flight, they must stay in the carrier and are generally not fed aside from the edible chews. When the flight nanny arrives at the airport, she will coordinate with you on where to pick up the dog.

Domestic Flying

All our puppies fit Deltas sizing requirements, and we guarantee that they will ride in the cabin, NOT the cargo hold. For domestic flights, no medical documents are necessary. My Doodle Puppy can fly to any airport in the United States of your choosing.

International Flying

As is mentioned in the cost breakdown, we charge an additional $500 on top of the original price for international flights. For countries outside the US, it is a case-by-case basis whether we can deliver to you. There are often rules and regulations that can make it harder to bring a pet into another country. Reach out if you fall into this category and would like to purchase one of our puppies.

Preparation Tips

First things first, puppy prep your house. Buy the necessary supplies and designate a specific area for your pet. Do some research, you can make your home more puppy-friendly, by choosing suitable upholstery and appropriate wall textures. Next, create a plan or schedule so you’re prepared as soon as you pick up your pup from the airport. When it’s time for your puppy to meet the family, do so one person at a time, allowing them to gradually become comfortable with everyone and their new home.

A flight nanny is an excellent option for those who live far away, have busy schedules, or are uncomfortable traveling with a pet. Using our flight nanny saves you time and eliminates travel stress. We guarantee a safe and comfortable trip for your dog and peace of mind for you.
